About us
AEHSAS Foundation is a not-for-profit organization in India, registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. Established in 2024, AEHSAS is dedicated to catalyzing positive change in underprivileged communities, with a mission to empower marginalized sections across India, ensuring equal access to education, health, opportunities, and social well-being. In India, millions of individuals face marginalization and lack access to necessities. AEHSAS voices their concerns to ensure they can lead secure, dignified lives. Our work ensures access to quality education, addresses environmental issues, livelihood opportunities, healthcare services, and community development programs. We aim to work closely with central and state governments to advocate inclusive policies and their effective implementation.
AEHSAS' initiatives focus on direct interventions in several critical areas: Education, Livelihood Upliftment, Healthcare and Hygiene, Environmental Concerns, and Community Development.

AEHSAS is committed to harnessing both traditional wisdom and frontier technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI), to design human-centric, scalable, and resilient solutions that foster equity, dignity, and long-term impact across society.
AEHSAS Foundation works to uplift underprivileged and marginalized communities by combining traditional community services with the practical use of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence. Our efforts focus on accessible education, basic healthcare, skill development, and community welfare, especially in rural and semi-urban areas. By leveraging AI tools for social good, we aim to make these services more efficient, inclusive, and impactful.
Since 2015
What began as a humble effort by a group of students from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in 2015–2016 soon grew into a larger movement of service and compassion. Moved by the harsh reality that quality education remained out of reach for many, these young changemakers started collecting small donations from their hostels, neighbourhoods, and acquaintances. With those modest contributions, they funded the education of underprivileged students, provided career counselling, and offered free coaching, all without any formal structure or recognition.
In 2017, this shared effort took its first formal shape with the establishment of The Aligarh Youth Society, giving the growing group a platform to continue serving students and communities while staying rooted in the same spirit of volunteerism and compassion.
Over the years, despite personal challenges and evolving career paths, their commitment never faded. In 2024, that unwavering spirit found a new name: AEHSAS Foundation, where A, E, H, SA, S stand for Awareness, Education, Health, Sustainable Advancement, Sanitisation.
Born out of compassion and driven by purpose, AEHSAS is more than an NGO, it's a growing movement dedicated to uplifting lives and restoring dignity. While education remains at our heart, our mission now extends to healthcare, environmental awareness, skill development, and beyond, with a powerful vision that has evolved from “every child deserves a chance” to “everyone deserves a chance.”
